Choose a trip view

Use the reading tabs to find the level of detail you need. These views show your saved plans; edit the trip to change them.

Itinerary: browse the holiday

Itinerary shows the trip a week at a time. Expand a day to read its activities, travel and accommodation. Activity titles open valid saved websites. Map & directions provides location actions when a place is available.

Segments: focus on one stop

Use Previous and Next to move through the segments. Dates appear beside the segment name, and activities are grouped by day and timing.

A day without an activity or recorded journey is labelled Free day. Accommodation and a segment pass do not fill that day. A concise travel line shows a journey without repeating every connection.

Select a date heading to open that day in Day details. The segment map focuses on linked itinerary places; open it for the larger map. Unlinked activities still appear in the list.

Passes & other expenses holds shared instructions, links and available documents for segment purchases. Manage these purchases from Edit trip or the budget.

Calendar: see how dates fit

Calendar shows saved segments, stays and activities across a month. Open a day for its details. On a small screen, scroll within the calendar if needed.

The calendar inside Edit trip → Map & calendar uses a compact month/day picker on phones. Choose a date to see that day's plans, then open an entry for full day details. Previous and Next month keep every date accessible, including dates outside the trip. Keyboard users can select dates with arrow keys or Home/End. Larger screens keep the month grid; without JavaScript, phones retain the full agenda and day links.

A stay occupies nights up to checkout, with checkout shown separately. Undated items cannot be placed on the calendar; find them in the trip's other views. Calendar is available from Plan onward.

Day details: use today's plan

Choose a date or use the arrows to move one day at a time. Changing the date opens it automatically when the browser supports this; Go is a fallback when automatic navigation is unavailable.

Day details brings together weather, activities, travel, tonight's accommodation and useful segment purchases. Panels start open; select a heading or chevron to collapse one. Only the extended weather sources and location details start closed. Segment purchases appear directly below Weather. No Travel panel appears when there is nothing to show. A stay checking out today is not tonight's accommodation.

The clock uses destination time when it can be resolved. If it falls back to your device's timezone, the page says so. Current-period labels help you read the plan; they do not mark activities complete.

Why a view is unavailable

Dream shows an outline rather than a dated daily plan. Archived trips show only their period and segments until restored. Your licence and trip role also affect which controls and financial details you can see.

See maps, directions and weather, or archive and restore.

Check a ticket price

If you are marked as travelling, Segments and Day details show the saved price beside unpaid or partly paid activities and segment purchases, even with Viewer access. You will see the individual rate for Per traveller entries, without a group total. That rate is labelled as an estimate even when a booking has an agreed total. Overall entries show the agreed price when available, otherwise the estimate. The price stays visible until paid; it is not the balance remaining. Estimates are your saved research, so confirm the current price with the supplier. Booking and payment details keep their usual access restrictions.

Take a printed itinerary

Choose Print itinerary from the trip menu to prepare paper or a PDF. The preview groups your plans by segment and day, with an overview map when locations are available. Travel and place QR codes start on. Owners and Planners also see Display notes; Research notes stay private.

Turn on Day maps for activities and accommodation at the beginning of each day. Accommodation appears only on check-in day, with its stay dates and QR code. It takes marker 1 on that day, followed by the activities; accommodation markers have a distinct shape. A plus means several entries share that location. Items without a linked place still appear in the itinerary. Scan a place QR code with your phone to open Google Maps; it opens the saved place, not directions. Accommodation without a linked Google place uses its saved address as a Google Maps search instead. Opening Google Maps requires internet.

Travellers also see outstanding ticket prices beside activities, just as in the reading views. Per-person prices show the ticket rate rather than a party total; fully paid items have no price line.

You can choose a date range, hide travel, notes or codes, and include undated plans. Update preview lets you review changed options. Print opens an A4 PDF in a new tab using your current choices; print or save it from the PDF viewer. Your browser settings may download the file instead. If a map is unavailable, the text itinerary and place links remain.

The PDF starts with an index of segment names, full segment dates and starting pages. The selected print range is shown separately. Long indexes continue onto more pages, and every segment starts on a new page. Headers identify the holiday and current segment; footers show Page X of Y. Dates not yet set are labelled.

Private extras lets Owners and Planners include prices, booking references or traveller contacts. These start off. Review them before sharing a PDF or paper copy. Prices are whole purchases, even when printing only part of the trip, and saved travel and prices are your research rather than supplier confirmations.
