Manage your account and licence

Use About Me for personal preferences and Password, email and account security for sign-in settings. Trip access and your account licence are separate.

Set preferences

Your home country, home currency, temperature and time-format preferences help make plans easier to read. Explicit 12-hour or 24-hour settings affect your display and time entry, not anyone else's saved times or the trip's timezone.

In About Me, use Settings to choose your home currency, temperature units and time format.

Your home currency is used for personal equivalents and as the reporting currency for new trips. Changing it does not change the reporting currency of existing trips. Other travel preferences in About Me do not automatically rewrite a holiday.

The editable contact email in your profile is not the same as a verified sign-in identity. Changing it does not merge accounts or grant trip access.

Understand your licence

Licence What it means
Viewer Read trips shared with you; cannot create or edit trips.
Limited Editor Create and own active trips up to the assigned allowance; edit according to your trip role.
Open Editor Unlimited active owned trips; edit according to your trip role.
Power User Open Editor capabilities, plus invitations from owned trips.
Travel Agent The same current capabilities as Power User, with a separate reporting class; no additional client-management tools.

Account Details at the bottom of About Me shows your assigned licence SKU and account ID. Your trip list shows licence usage. The administrator assigns licences.

All active trips you own count, including Dream plans and past holidays. Trips where you are only a Planner or Viewer do not use your allowance. A shared trip counts for each Owner.

If your allowance is reduced below current usage, existing trips remain. An editor can still work on them, but cannot add another active owned trip until capacity is available. Archive a trip to free a slot.

A licence never gives access to somebody else's holiday by itself. See sharing and trip roles.

The public Third-party acknowledgements page describes external data and software providers. It is separate from your account licence and capabilities.

Sign in safely

Use the sign-in options offered by your installation. New accounts require an invitation. If you already have an account and want another sign-in provider, link it from account security while signed in to the intended account.

Account security offers password, verified email and optional authenticator protections. Follow the on-screen verification steps and keep recovery codes somewhere safe. If you forget a password, use the recovery option on the sign-in page.

Open your invitation email and choose a sign-in provider, or enter your display name and a password. There is no second invitation email or code to enter. Your provider can use a different email address. Already registered? Sign in to your existing account instead.

Invitation links are personal and last 72 hours; do not forward them. If a link expires, ask the sender to resend. Sending limits can require a short wait. Never share verification or recovery codes in trip notes or feedback.

Reminder preferences

In About Me / Settings, select your home city or town and save. Reminders use its timezone, with your saved browser timezone as a fallback. You can permanently stop each reminder email type across all your trips by unchecking its Receive checkbox. Checked means receive; existing opt-outs remain unchecked. In-app prompts remain visible. The trip Reminders panel also has your personal trip email choice. If prompted to complete your profile after an update, Continue for now returns you to planning; a notice remains until the missing details are saved.
