Open-Meteo weather data

Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0).

plotpace.com uses the Open-Meteo Climate API to calculate averages from modelled data for the configured number of complete calendar years. We adapt this data into average low and high temperatures, trip temperature ranges and average condition indicators, and convert temperatures to your preferred units.

These summaries describe typical conditions, not a forecast for your travel dates. Open-Meteo does not endorse plotpace.com.

Meteostat weather data

Fallback data comes from Meteostat and its data providers, under CC BY 4.0. Station observations may include model data to fill gaps. We select nearby stations, calculate historical averages and convert temperatures to your preferred units. Snow cover indicates recorded snow depth, not daily snowfall. Station distance, source and years appear in weather tooltips.

Nearby station conditions can differ from your destination, especially in mountainous terrain. Meteostat and its data providers do not endorse plotpace.com.

Google Maps

Place lookup and trip maps use Google Maps Platform. Maps retain Google's logo and data attribution. Use is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.
